Man surrenders after 18-hour siege in Brisbane

A man has surrendered to police after an 18-hour siege at his home in Brisbane.
Police were called to the Murarrie residence at 3am yesterday following reports of an argument between flatmates.
The 40-year-old gave himself over to police at 9.30pm last night, and has been taken to hospital for observation.
