Man stabbed in back in outback Qld

A man has been stabbed in the back during an argument with a woman in northwestern Queensland.

Police were called to a home at Camooweal, northwest of Mount Isa, after reports of an argument late on Tuesday night.

When they got there they found the injured man, 34, inside the house.

He's since been flown to the Mount Isa hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 30-year-old woman will face the Camooweal Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with unlawful wounding.
