Caravan fire that killed Queensland woman deemed suspicious

A woman's body has been found in a burned out caravan after a fire southwest of Brisbane, with police treating the death as suspicious.

The caravan at the rear of a paint and panel yard on Gravel Pit Road, Darra, was engulfed in flames just before 6am on Sunday.

The body of a woman believed to be in her 30s was found inside and police are questioning a 61-year-old man.

The incident is being treated as suspicious and investigators have established a crime scene at the site.
