Man on walker pushed to safety in Logan

Police have rescued an elderly man from public toilets at a flooded Logan park, after the nearby Logan River rose to record levels.

The man, who was on his walker, was pushed through fast-moving ankle-deep water by two officers at Tygum Park.

About twenty people who had come to inspect the floods watched on.
