Man loses finger tip in Qld knife fight

A man has lost the tip of his finger in a violent knife attack at a Brisbane home.

The 24-year-old returned to his Alexandra Hills home just after 11pm on Thursday and was attacked by another man, who had been drinking with others at the property.

Police say his alleged attacker, 26, fled the scene but was found at nearby Capalaba shortly afterwards. He is due to face Cleveland Magistrates Court on Friday charged with grievous bodily harm.
