Man dies in north Qld timber yard

A man has died in a timber yard accident in north Queensland.

Paramedics and police attended the scene at Bohle, in Townsville's west, around 8.45am on Monday.

Reports the man was crushed by a load of timber have not been confirmed by police.

Queensland Workplace Health and Safety inspectors are investigating.
