Man killed in Qld crash

A man has been killed and another is in hospital after a car plunged down a steep embankment in far north Queensland.

The accident happened near Millaa Millaa on Thursday afternoon, when the car crashed off the road and over the embankment.

A 52-year-old Carmoo man driving the car died at the scene, while his 22-year-old male passenger was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
