Man in Qld court for firing gun into air

A man who allegedly fired a gun into the air after making demands for cash will face a court west of Brisbane on Monday.

The 21-year-old is accused of going to a Toowoomba home on Saturday and demanding two acquaintances return money owed to him.

It's alleged he fired one shot into the sky before leaving and dumping the gun on the roof of another friend's house.

He'll appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on drug and weapons charges.
