Man in court over Qld gem store stabbing

A man will front a Brisbane court on Monday charged over the vicious bashing and stabbing of a jewellery store worker.
It's alleged the 27-year-old repeatedly punched and stabbed a 62-year-old man in the Wickham Street store on Friday, leaving him with serious injuries to his chest, face and arm.
The accused will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder and other offences.
