Man in court over Cairns airport incident

A South Korean man who allegedly sparked a security scare at Cairns Airport has been ordered to undergo a mental health assessment.
Hanback Chae, 27, appeared in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Monday over the incident on Friday in which he allegedly doused himself flammable liquid and threatened to set himself alight.
Chae, who is charged with one count of acts of violence at an airport, was ordered to undergo the assessment and will reappear in court on Tuesday.
