Man hit with baseball bat in Qld robbery

A man has been beaten over the head with a baseball bat during a robbery at a takeaway shop near Brisbane.

Two men put the 42-year-old victim in a headlock and hit him several times before fleeing the Loganlea shop with the cash tin on Friday night, police say.

The victim was treated for facial and head injuries and the robbers remain on the run.
