Man hit, killed by crane near Brisbane

A man has been hit and killed by a crane at a work site west of Brisbane.

Paramedics were called to a business at Carole Park in Ipswich about 3.20pm on Monday but were unable to revive the worker who was pronounced dead at the scene.

An Ambulance Service spokesman told AAP the man died from a head injury but couldn't provide details about the man or the business.
