Man glassed at Queensland bar

One man is in hospital and another is to face court after an alleged glassing at a hotel at Gatton in southeast Queensland.

Police were called to the hotel on Railway Street at around 1am on Sunday following reports a 24-year-old man had sustained facial injuries.

He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

A 19-year-old man has been charged with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in Gatton Magistrates Court on September 28.
