Police allege he and a woman approached a 27-year-old Coomera man as he left the toilet at a tram stop at Broadbeach on December 27.

The man allegedly used a knife to demand money from the victim, before he slashed his arm and stole his mobile phone.

The 22-year-old Surfers Paradise woman was also due to face court on Wednesday charged with armed robbery and wounding.
