Man drowns after falling from boat in Qld

A man has drowned at Rainbow Beach, north of Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

The 70-year-old was in a motorised tinny when he fell into the water shortly before midday on Wednesday.

He was brought to shore by another man he'd been boating with.

Paramedics attempted CPR but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
