Man 'seven times the limit drives mates to Brisbane airport'

A 37-year-old man has driven friends to Brisbane Airport while almost seven times over the blood alcohol limit, according to police.

Authorities noticed his erratic driving while he was dropping his friends off at the airport on Sunday afternoon.

He was pulled up on Airport Drive and blew a blood alcohol reading of 0.344 percent.

The Graceville man has been charged with driving under the influence of liquor.

He's due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on January 14.
