Man dies in two-car smash in Queensland

A man has been killed in a collision on the Centenary Highway at Ipswich.

He was the driver and sole occupant of a car that collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction in the suburb of Ripley early on Saturday morning. He died at the scene.

The occupants of the other car, a 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
