Man dies as ute crashes in Nth Queensland

A man has died after his utility lost control and crashed in far north Queensland.

The ute was travelling east along the Gillies Range Road at Gadgarra at around 2.15pm on Tuesday when it went into a guard rail. The driver, a 62-year-old Earlville man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam vision to please contact them.
