Two die in separate Queensland incidents

Two men have died after being hit by cars in separate incidents in Queensland.

A 19-year-old man was leaving a party in Caboolture, north of Brisbane, with two men when he was struck by a vehicle about 2am on Saturday.

Emergency services treated him at the scene but he was unable to be saved.

His two companions, as well as the driver and passenger of the car, were not injured.

Earlier, a man died after being hit by a car in Palmview on the Sunshine Coast.

Emergency services were called about 9.30pm on Friday.

The 41-year-old, from nearby Buderim, was transported in a critical condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital where he later died.
