Man charged over Qld school brawl

A man has been charged and a teenager cautioned over a brawl in front of students outside a Gold Coast school.

Two groups of people got into a fight at the Pacific Pines High School as school ended for the day on Tuesday afternoon.

Police had to send multiple crews to respond to the fracas but no one was seriously hurt.

A 16-year-old boy and a 29-year-old man were arrested at the scene.

The man has been charged with going armed to cause fear, possession of a knife in a public place and driving whilst under the influence.

He'll appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on November 3.

The teenager was cautioned.
