Man charged over Qld bashing

Cairns police have charged a man over a vicious bashing which left a man in a critical condition in late August.
The 35-year-old victim was found unconscious in a carpark on August 26.
A 30-year-old man was taken into custody on Tuesday and will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Wednesday on a grievous bodily harm charge.
