Man charged over hotel shooting

A man has been charged over a Gold Coast hotel room invasion that ended with a man being shot in the stomach.
The 24-year-old man will face the Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with enter dwelling with intent, demand property with menace and common assault over the incident on Friday at the Palm Avenue Hotel in Surfers Paradise.
Police are still looking for another man seen on CCTV running from the room shortly after the attack.
