Man charged over Gold Coast fight

Police have charged a man following a fight at a Gold Coast park on Saturday afternoon.
A 46-year-old Nerang man is due to face Southport Magistrates Court on Monday on one count of grievous bodily harm after allegedly striking a 51-year-old man several times, resulting in him falling to the ground and hitting his head.
The man is in Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
