Man charged over Gold Coast death
AAP
A man initially believed to have died in a sex game gone wrong might have been killed in a botched robbery, with Queensland police charging a man over the death.
Gregory John Hudson arrived on the Gold Coast by bus from Sydney four days before he was found dead in a Varsity Lakes unit last month.
Media speculated that Mr Hudson may have died in a sex game gone wrong as a woman believed to be a sex worker was reportedly assisting police with their investigation.

But police have charged a 24-year-old man with manslaughter and armed robbery.
He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court later on Friday.
It's understood that there could be more arrests and charges.
Mr Hudson wasn't known to police.
