Man charged over Gold Coast airport crash

A man who allegedly crashed a stolen car into the domestic terminal at the Gold Coast Airport is facing a string of charges.
The 34-year-old allegedly stole a car from a golf course on Saturday afternoon and later tried to steal another at the airport before crashing into the domestic terminal building.
He's due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday charged with eight offences, including armed robbery, dangerous operation of a vehicle and serious assault of a public officer.
