Man charged after Qld cop's leg crushed

A man will face court accused of causing a leg injury to a police officer who attempted to stop a robbery in southeast Queensland.
The officer was responding to reports of a theft at a Mitre-10 store at Cooroy, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, early on Monday morning when his leg was crushed between two getaway cars.
Police have charged five people over a string of robberies including the Mitre-10 theft, with a 23-year-old man facing more than 30 offences including serious assault of a police officer.
