Man bitten by shark off Yeppoon, in Central Queensland

A man has been bitten by a shark off Yeppoon, in Queensland.

The Queensland Ambulance Service was called to the scene at Yeppoon’s Rosslyn Bay about noon.

A QAS spokesman said a 30-year-old man was being treated at the scene in preparation for transfer to Rockhampton Base Hospital.

The man suffered serious injuries to his legs, hands and arms during the attack.
