Man bit ear off in pub fight: police

A man has allegedly bitten off part of another man's ear during a scuffle at a South Brisbane pub.

A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries to his ear after the incident at the Melbourne Street premises on Sunday night.

A 25-year-old male was also allegedly assaulted during the fight.

An Inala man, 24, will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday charged with one count each of grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning bodily harm.
