Man beaten with bat, stabbed on Gold Coast

Three masked men have bashed and stabbed a man on a Gold Coast street.

Police are still hunting for the attackers, who left a 35-year-old man in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The group struck the man in the head with a baseball bat and stabbed him in the lower torso in a street at Gilston just before 7pm on Tuesday.

A crime scene has been established and police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
