Man bailed over Qld one-punch death

A man accused of killing a man during a brawl at a hotel has been released on bail.
Matthew Clancy Ryan, 44, was charged with one count of unlawful striking causing death after allegedly punching and killing 69-year-old Nigel Doyle at the Kerwick Hotel at Redbank, west of Brisbane, on Saturday.
He appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Tuesday where he successfully applied for bail before the matter was adjourned until March 8.
