Man charged over Qld stabbing death

A man who went on the run after allegedly stabbing a man dead in Queensland has been charged with murder.

A 27-year-old man died soon after being found on a roadside in Logan with stab wounds to his chest early on Tuesday.

Police launched a search for his attacker, who had fled the scene, and arrested a 34-year-old man in Beaudesert early on Wednesday.

The suspect was found sitting in what is believed to be a stolen car.

He will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
