Machete man on the run on Gold Coast

Police are searching for a man who is possibly armed with a machete after a woman's leg was slashed during an altercation on the Gold Coast.

Police were called to Olsen Avenue in Arundel just before midday on Wednesday where they found the woman, who has since been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Her alleged attacker is at large with police searching the area for him.
