Lamb stolen from Qld show petting zoo

The owners of a lamb stolen from the Townsville Show have pleaded for its return, saying it will die unless it's reunited with its mother.

Police are investigating how the six-week-old lamb was taken from the petting zoo at the show on Friday evening.

Petting zoo owner Kevin Carter told the ABC it would die without its mum, and has pleaded for its return.
