Man charged weeks after police shooting in Queensland hospital
A man has been charged weeks after he was shot by police for allegedly wielding a knife at a hospital in Queensland.
Police were called to Kingaroy Hospital about 7.20pm on August 9, where the man allgedly threatened officers with a knife.
During the confrontation he was shot by police. He received immediate medical assistance and was flown to Sunshine Coast Hospital for further treatment.

No officers were physically injured during the incident, police said.
The 59-year-old man from Kingaroy has today been charged with one count of going armed to cause fear and three counts of serious assault police officer.
While he currently remains in hospital for treatment, he has been given a notice to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 18.
The Ethical Standards Command is investigating the police shooting with its investigation subject to oversight by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
