Jewellery thief nabbed after Qld heists
AAP
Queensland police have nabbed a jewellery thief with an eye for the finer things in life.
Officers say the man swiped a $4000 gold necklace from a jewellery store at Logan, south of Brisbane, late last week before sprinting through a car park to a waiting getaway car.
It's alleged the same man pinched a $2000 necklace from another Logan shopping centre at the weekend.

Police investigating the crimes intercepted a white van at Logan late on Saturday and arrested a Victorian man, but there was no sign of the necklaces.
The man has been charged with two counts of stealing and will face the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on January 9.
