Iranian man 'stabbed wife in chest'

An Iranian man who is facing deportation along with his family has been arrested in Brisbane after allegedly stabbing his wife in the chest.

The 42-year-old father-of-three has been charged with attempted murder after his 32-year-old wife was found in the driveway of a Brisbane residence with a knife in her chest.

The man was remanded in custody in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
