Ipswich boy's death under investigation

Queensland police are investigating the death of an 18-month-old boy who died after being hit by a car at an Ipswich home on Monday.

Emergency services were called to the Aramac Street home in the suburb of Brassall shortly after 4pm on Monday.

The toddler was declared dead at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit and Child Protection Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the incident.
