Investigations continue for Qld gunmen

Police are continuing their hunt for two gunmen who bashed a woman as she sat in her car south of Brisbane.

The woman was outside a house in Kingston at about 1am on Tuesday when she was hit in the head by two men through the window of her car.

A relative of the woman came out of the house to help but she was chased back inside.

The men, believed to be armed with guns, then tried to break into the property before they fled in a four-wheel drive.

Police officers chased the car but it failed to stop and sped off.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
