Injured motorbike rider flees scene of serious crash in Brisbane

The rider of a motorbike that crashed into a car at a Brisbane intersection this week and somehow walked from the scene, despite likely having serious injuries, has still not come forward to police.

Extraordinary dash camera video shows the motorbike driving through the intersection of Lomandra Drive and Graham Road at Morayfield around lunchtime on Wednesday as a silver Toyota Corolla was turning right.

The driver appears to attempt to brake, before crashing and clipping the tail of the Corolla sending it careening out of control.

Police say the rider fled the scene on foot prior to officers arriving at the scene and has not come forward, despite possibly having serious injuries.

The female driver of the Corolla only received minor injuries.

Police are asking the rider, as well as anyone with dashcam vision of the motorbike prior to the crash, to come forward.
