I've been shot: man shows up at Qld home

A man has turned up at a Queensland home after being shot in the stomach.

Police were called to the home in the Hervey Bay suburb of Pialba just after 6.30pm on Monday.

Details about the incident are sketchy and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The injured man, believed to be aged in his thirties, went to the home in Beach Road before he was taken to Hervey Bay hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police say the victim's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
