Houseboat man's body found on Gold Coast

A man who failed to return to his houseboat on the Gold Coast has been found dead.

The body of 66-year-old Daniel Flaherty was found in the water on Monday after his overturned dinghy sparked a search of the Broadwater at Biggera Waters.

He was last seen on Sunday afternoon when he told his family he was returning to his houseboat and police say the death is not suspicious.
