Hopes fading for missing Qld hiker

A 58-year-old man remains missing after going hiking in southeast Queensland's Lamington National Park three days ago.

The Logan man called police late on Saturday after he became lost but they could not find him the next morning after telling him to stay in the same location.

The search will resume on Wednesday morning after a third day of looking was called off on Tuesday afternoon due to fading light.
