Gold Coast woman stabbed by relative

A woman has allegedly been stabbed in the torso and arm by her sister-in-law during an attack at a Gold Coast home.

The 56-year old was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition after she was knifed several times on Friday night, police said.

Her attacker, 58, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and is expected to front Southport Magistrates Court later on Saturday.
