Girl in Brisbane hospital after dog attack

A young girl has serious facial injuries after being bitten by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross breed at a home west of Brisbane.
Ipswich City Council has seized the dog, which was believed to be owned by the victim's family.
Queensland Ambulance Service says the attack occurred at the home before 8am on Tuesday at Redbank Plains.

She is in a stable condition in the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.
