Gas leak shuts down parts of Qld town

Parts of a southeast Queensland town have been shut down following a gas leak at a nursing home.
An emergency declaration was made about 2pm on Tuesday at Nambour on the Sunshine Coast.
An exclusion zone has been set up around Glenbrook Drive, Westbrook Drive, Imagination Drive and Jack Street, and residents have been warned to stay inside as emergency workers try and stop the leak.

Police said a commercial gas bottle at an aged care facility on Glenbrook Drive was damaged, although no details were provided.
There have been no evacuations.
