Police have laid further charges against an alleged Bandidos bikie gang member over a home invasion and kidnapping of a man in Brisbane's southwest earlier this year.

The 33-year-old Pimpama man, who had been charged with drugs and firearm offences, is now also facing one count each of entering a dwelling with intent, kidnapping for ransom, deprivation of liberty, armed robbery and extortion.

The charges relate to an incident on June 27 when a group of armed men stormed the Jimboomba home of Jake John Hodges, allegedly robbing him and then kidnapping him.

Another man, 24, was charged on Friday following raids on two homes in the northern Gold Coast earlier this week.

The 24-year-old has been charged with kidnapping for ransom, extortion, armed robbery, burglary, deprivation of liberty, and trafficking dangerous drugs.

Both men are set to face the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday.

A third man, ex-bikie gang member Harley Cranston, has already been committed to stand trial over the kidnapping.

Cranston is facing nine charges, including kidnapping for ransom, deprivation of liberty and entering a premises with intent.

He is accused of using a stolen police gun to rob and then kidnap Mr Hodges from his home on June 25.

Cranston is also facing charges after allegedly receiving a police gun that went missing after falling from an officer's holster during a chase a day earlier.

The date for Cranston's trial is yet to be set.
