Funeral for Qld boy killed in accident

A 13-year-old Queensland boy who died in hospital after being hit on the head with a golf club in a cane toad hunting accident will be remembered at a funeral on Monday.

He was struck near a former golf course at Maroochydore on Sunday night and died in hospital on Tuesday.

Police have ruled the death non-suspicious and are preparing a report for the coroner.
