Hundreds pay tribute to Anthony Gordon at Gold Coast motorcycle club
Hundreds from the Queensland motorcycle and Gold Coast communities have gathered to pay tribute to 17-year-old motorcyclist Anthony Gordon after he tragically died during a championship race in Brisbane's north earlier this month.
Mr Gordon, affectionately known as "Knuckles", was today escorted by a roar of engines as a motorcade of friends on Harley motorbikes accompanied him on his final trip past his Nerang High School.
The motorcade then made one final lap around Gordon's local racetrack, with his helmet and jersey nearby for the ride.

"A life taken far too soon and whose loss has left the world so much a lesser place," Matt Cousins from the Mike Hatcher Junior Motorcycle Club said.
"His enthusiasm, tenacity, and genuine love of friends and family made him that kid at the track who we all wanted our sons to be like."
