AAP
A former Queensland Police officer will appear in court for alleged misconduct after an investigation by the corruption watchdog.
The Corruption and Crime Commission alleges the 60-year-old former Sergeant accessed a Queensland Police Service database without authorisation on 44 occasions between 2010 and 2016, while serving as a police officer.
The former policeman and a 72-year-old man who allegedly procured information from the officer have each been charged with 44 counts of misconduct in relation to public office and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 18.
