AAP
Five men have been rescued off Fraser Island after their boat capsized, leaving them in the water for more than two hours.
They were winched to safety by a RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter on Sunday afternoon after the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) detected their distress beacon.
An RAAF Hercules and a Water Police vessel from Hervey Bay were also called on to respond.
